Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a Space and Defense Correspondent she covers all aspects of space starting from NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space companies as well as space tourism. Being the daughter of 2 NASA astronauts, Kristin has a background in the field of space and has worked for the past five years covering the Trump and Biden Space policies of the administration as an White House Correspondent for FOX News. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings and the 2020 presidential election as well as efforts of two administrations in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted. Prior to joining the network in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up through local TV news markets including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin's expertise as a camerawoman helped her establish Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients like Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. Her current residence is Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
