Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. Born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and was granted refugee status to remain. Her middle sister raised her to the age of Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air camera career by being featured in several National Commercials. She was honored with the award in recognition of her role as Chiara who was the lead character in Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. Television guest-starring roles comprise How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. She most recently had a supporting role in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009).
